Question about stairs

My new 4 month old Em puppy is having trouble on the few stairs to my house. Is this normal? Dumb question but just wondering how long it took some other mastiff puppies??

It's perfectly normal for them to be skittish if they haven't had to use them before. It should take a couple of days to a week or so and they'll know how to handle them.

Yes, completely normal. Be careful once your pup gets used to them, especially if there is a sharp turn at the bottom. Our lab used to tear down the stairs, do a sharp turn and then end up limping for a few days when he was a puppy. The first time was a $400 trip to the emergency vet only to be told that we should make him walk down the stairs...and I just gave you that advice for free.

i put my girl at the bottom and put treats on every step to encourage her to get used to them.
