The Argentine Dogo coat is glossy, thick, short and is soft in texture. They are constant shedders. We usually refer to spots as coloration on the coat that is not accepted in the Original Breed Standard of 1947. Pigmentation which is diffrent, is coloration of the skin. All Dogos have some pigmentation. Excessive pigmentation is not acceptable. In hot weather those spots become more visible for instance i am living in Brazil and now is summer, during this period Diego that is all white has black spots on his skin that are more visible since he is shedding more and also when i give him a bath all of his skin spots are visible but not when dry,
