potty training, HELP

Hi all! I need some help. I have a 3 mo English mastiff. She is a great puppy! Only thing is I am having a problem with her pee'n in the house. I try to be on top of taking her out every hour and telling her outside and potty and praising her when she does. But after being outside for like 20min to 45min, gi potty and play a bit, she will come in and rest. Lately, after taking her out and coming in, about 20 min later she will pee. Not hiding or anything but right in front of me. I understand this can be a behavior of some sort but she is with me at all times. If not me then my bf. I also have a chocolate lab and don't remember training this hard. I really don't know what I am doing wrong. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have a lot of issues along these lines lol according to info, people and books your doing the right thing and if your lucky enough to have someone around her at all times then watch her and as soon as that 20 min period comes and she goes to pee make a loud noise to stop her pot and pan, bang a slipper off a wall anything to stop her peeing then tell her no and pick her up or put a lead on her quick take her outside to the usual spot put her down and tell her to go potty or whatever command your using to let her know you want her to pee etc. Then when she does go give her lots of praise. other than that can't see anything wrong with what your doing. Good Luck.

I would avoid banging pots and pans together to get them to stop peeing, wont always work, and may put a negative spin on the entire potty training. Simply pick up the pup, and take it to where you'd like it to urinate. You don't want her to be afraid to go to the bathroom fearing she may get the crap scared out of her. Just my 2 cents, Ive trained about 15 dogs, and they all get it eventually, just keep on doing what you're doing.

Our puppy, Grady was doing the same... only having pee accidents and always after we had been out but he was resting, etc. After about 14 weeks... he just got it. He was able to hold it longer and also could have been that we were more in tune with his schedule... watching him closely and sort of timing it after he drank water. We did what you are doing now and he's good to go at 4.5 months now. Hasn't had an accident in weeks. Keep it up! Lots of praise when he's going outside. (Oh... we just said NO! and calmly picked him up and took him outside. If he did make a puddle... we cleaned it up and didn't make a fuss.)

Thank you all for the advice. I think it finally clicked but, we have a new problem :( during the day she is doing so go going outside but now whenever she is in her kennel she pees. WTF?? this started about 2 weeks ago and really only a couple times did it happen. NOW, I can guaranty that there will be pew in the kennel. It's not like a dribble either. Full blown river people. When she wines at night i let her out. But when I get there she had already gone. And its not like fresh. I don't put blankets or pillows in anymore and am going.to take water away before bed but how long before bed? Any other suggestions would be great!
