Hopefully your breeder will replace him. I know that doesn't make it easier by any means.

My duke which was a EM had passed in Feb 1, 2013 I am sure he is waiting there for guinness..I only had Duke for 2 days and the pain I went through losing him ..the tears would just fill up with anything about him...I talk to the BYB that sold him to me... I feel dumb about getting a puppy from a BYB but at least Duke had 2 nite in a soft bed with me and 3 meals without fighting other puppies and dogs for..still tear up thinking about that poor baby...I am so sorry..did the vet say he was sick with distemper before you got him? or did he get it after? only asking cuz I have a new puppy now he had a bad case of parasites..but he is fine now..

even if just for a short period of time he was loved and he loved you
a dogs love never leaves
