There's just something about a mastiff, undeniably
amazing. I owned a couple of Tibetan Mastiffs
almost 20 yrs ago. Haven't had a dog in quite a few yrs.
At an expo 4 yrs ago I was introduced to the Cane and
was in awe. After waiting and researching I've finally found
what I was looking for. Ears are getting done on Monday.
Going be exciting watching this guy grow!!!

Very cute and welcome to the breed from another Corso addict! Where is your puppy coming from? Will be great to watch him grow! So many puppies on here right now... it is awesome! If you have any questions that you need help with let me know.

New to the breed also. The pup is beautiful. Got my girl two months ago and couldnt be happier with this breed-- I already know I will own corsos for the rest of my life. Good luck!

Welcome! Great looking puppy - love that last pic with the stick. :)

I loved having a little puppy around, but I must say... I'm glad we got the mid-night potty runs done before the snows set in...

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! My guy is coming from
California. The biggest question I have concerns feeding.
Raw all natural, straight kibble, or a mix of both. I really
just want to do what's best for his system. Kibble is kind of
a waste if it's mostly filler etc. If you talk to a vet about raw
they act as though you're doing a huge disservice. Which is best
for this breed?

No mixing. Raw and kibble digest at different rates. Raw is great if you can do it but there are also options for kibble that aren't full of fillers.

As far as feeding raw and kibble, Ive read its ok to feed both but at different times. i.e kibble breakfast, raw dinner

There's no definitive research on exactly how long each takes to digest. If you are going to mix thus is the way to do it but its preferable to do one or the other.

That's what I'm going to try. I want him to have the best chance possible.
There are benefits with both. Which kibble has the least amount of fillers?
What is the best raw selection? Chicken legs and thighs? Ground beef?
What have you guys had success with?
