New puppy in two weeks!

How did she travel?

We didn't have a small crate, and it was a short trip, so on my lap. Was not phased at all by the car ride. Will be getting a seatbelt harness for her this week though, we figure. Recommendations? Little dog (rescued by us at 7 years old) has issues with car travel, so want to ensure that doesn't get passed on.

Personally I wouldn't use any of the seatbelt restraints currently on the market. The ones that have been tested have proven to be potentially fatal for both dog and driver. I remember hearing about a collaboration between a car manufacturer and a dog restraint company to develop a safer restraint about a month ago but it's not likely developed yet. They love to travel in the car. Right now they are loose in the back I know it's not the safest but unless I get a cargo van I don't think I could get crates in either.

Agree with smokeycat on dog restraints for the car. Titan sits in the back with no restraints. BTW, your pup is adorable. Another pup I want to kiss all over! I love the pic with her in middle of stuffed animals.

And Kujo goes with me almost everywhere, I got a hammock style back seat cover, it prevents him from flying forward when I have to stop suddenly. He loves it!! Here's a picture, not the best one out there, but I wanted to try a cheaper one first then to see how well it works, think we'll make our own to custom fit my car and add pockets to help store his doggy stuff
