It was a toss up between duece and diesel but duece won the toss.Does the little guy have a name yet?!
You can put insurance on a dog? I didnt know that. Well hes got a great home my kids love him i have a 3 year old and shes super excited. Im glad i found a puppy that can grow with her. My 3 year old is almost 4. Shes over 3 feet tall and right at 60 pounds.thrn i have a 9 year old girl shes super excited as well shes 5'5 and 160 lbs so i believe they can manage him.You can always get dna.test not too expensive.. but i would look at insurance for health because if breeder doesn't do their research it can be expensive.. i use nationwide.. enjoy the new pup i am glad you gave her a great new home

This is the only foruum i have troble sharing pictures. I dont understand it.Awesome dude. Grats on the new pup. Share pics when you can or start a growth thread so we can all watch as he grows!
Ive gotten him already. Hes so sweet and loyal im just glad to be able to give him a good home!Personally, I'd pass and go to a reputable breeder that can, and will present full health boards on your dog's parents. Nothing like buying a pup with a lineage of severe health problems, and spending $2,000 to $4,000 to keep you from having to put your new puppy down due to health issues. The belly is concerning. If the folks that have him are competent breeders, how did he get in this condition in the first place. They should have been able to keep him from getting to a "morbid" condition due to worms (if it is worms) in the first place, before the "buy me" pics were presented.
I messed up on my puppy by not insisting on full health boards, but it looks (so far) like we got a rock solid dog anyway. My breeder claimed both expense of the boards, and several generations experience with her line knowing health is good. Sounded good at the time, but have learned I *should* have been more insistent. That being said, my boy does seem a very solid healthy dog.
There are people with a lot more dog sense on this forum than I have. They are better poised to advise you than me. However, this is my 2 cents worth. Good luck, I hope you enjoy whatever pup you end up with. Nothing than a dog to go home to and get your welcome home kiss.
Hes an amazing puppy for sure. You can never 100% guarantee The pup you get will be healthy akc or not, responsible breeder or not. And no matter 100% akc mastiff or not your puppy is 100% yours and you are going to be their whole world.. treat her right, train her right, feed and regular vet checks and i am sure she will be as good a member of your house as you could ask for..
