Menace and his BFF

I think I got lucky. I have the most laid back cat in the world. Lego. I got a really laid back dog and they are fast becoming friends. Lego is 9 and Menace is my 1st dog since getting Lego 8 years ago. I have another cat, who is the exact color of Menace (black with a white blaze), his name is Smudge. He is not a fan of the Menace yet, but he is coming around.

This was Friday night, I was lazing on the couch, Lego climbed up and slept beside me. Then Menace got up.

Then Menace gained a pillow

Lego didn't care, Menace was the one that got up (when I got up, of course!)

What cute pictures!!! I love to see the photos of the different animals getting along. They are both adorable!

They are too cute together!!! Bella wants to play with Roxy (my stuck up superior attitude "I'm the queen of this house" cat)....I've taught Bella "calm" and "no chasing" and every time Roxy comes down the stairs Bella gets so excited...starts wagging her tail (lol whats left of it) and it's so obvious she wants to play with the cat....but the minute Roxy makes eye contact with Bella she starts hissing away....sometimes she even comes downstairs...sits right on top of the couch behind my head and proceeds to glare and hiss at Bella....and Bella behaves so well. I hope eventually my cat will lighten up :(

He does try to play with Lego. When he gets way too excited Lego gives him a few wacks, and Lego has his claws. He doens't run though, so that helps. Lego will play a little and Lego will chase him across the room, but it doesn't last long. Lego was sleeping in his bed last night and Menace went over and dumped him out of his bed and tried to play with him. Lego just gave him a look, it was pretty funny. We also have a cat scratch post that goes up to my waist. My cats love it and use it regularly, Lego also climbs it and attacks him from up there. Last night Mencace actually used it like the cats do, stretched out up it. I think he thought "what is so great about this?"

Menace got a little too rough with Lego this evening. I heard Lego get upset and when I came in the living room Menace was sulking. With a cat claw stuck in his cheek. Lego was across the room.
