Honor now has mange showing up again. I had a post a few days ago about food allergies. That was not the case. She devolped mange again. After going to a 4th vet she is back on ivermectin. She has a week immune system and has a hard time fighting this disgussting parasite. It saddens me so bad. Im literally losing sleep.

I hated ivermectin for my sick lab. I used paraspary from. The holisitc horse out of texas with vitman supplements. I used the spray like seven times a day for about five days. It helped a lot. I also realised his outbreaks were strongly stress related. I also used a lot of baking soda and oatmeal baths and a borax bath and then wash. I dont know for sure witch worked but at the end of two weeks he was scott free after five months batteling. I also rescued a pit who had to have special baths at the vet but that was very costly.

Yogurt with the immune boost from holistic horse was a big help. But my lab was acrescue so his nange was due to no momma and very poorr nutrition. The pit had demodex. The holistic horse is relativly cheap compared to a hundred(s)dollar vet bill

If you have money to spend i reccomend. Advandtage multi it is used in europe for mange in the u.s they havent approved it for that reason. I rescue dogs frequently this is middle ground cost and super effective. Vets only tell you about this option when they realise you dont want to pay for fifty dollar baths once a week

Sorry haven't really sat down to reply to anything. Up here they now use Advantage Multi to treat Demodectic mange and I think you have to use it for several months in a row. I think you have to really dose up on it at the start and then you taper it off some. It doesn't mean that it isn't a food allergy, it does mean that your dog has a compromised immune system from something (they can often outgrow this once they get older) and that it causes the demodex to flurish. I would do a soothing medicated bath and then apply the advantage multi but I would still consider trying the raw for a few months and seeing if there is a change in her condition.

i would sugest the diet too...i believe alot of problems like that are caused from the food as with the weakened immune system ...i would also suggest probiotics ...they help the body absorb food and get the nutrition from what you eat and they also help to boost the imunne system ..i hope your puppy get better and the damaticus earth is good for that

My friend's dog was helped by switching foods. Her dog has been on Wellness Core grain free for over a year now and all skin/allergy conditions have cleared up.

Hi Tiger, could you please tell me the amounts of each? I'm doing it. I'm so tired of the mange in my Neo mastiff.
