Magnum's official Growth thread....

Thank You. He does hold him down every now and then when he gets way too excited and Magnum calms right down and waits a minute for Ruger to lift his paw.
THEY ARE SOOOO CUTE!! Looks like Ruger is holding him down in their shots together, "Hey little buddy, it's time to relax."

At the rate he is growing, that will be any day now. I am about to post a new photo of him.
That is because he knows how big he will be. NOTHING will be too big for him to carry soon :D

It drives me crazy AND makes me laugh at the same time. Yesterday I got caught upp in work so he ran free for about 15 minutes without me cheking on him and when I came back on his bed was: A wet washrag from the shower, A bottle of body wash, my hair tie, the broom, the dust pan, 1 sock, my sweat pants and a botle of water. He was laying there in all of his glory ........Happy as he could be. As I started taking stuff and putting it back, he followed me around barking, growling, whining and howling. LMAO After I put everything back he went into the bedroom, laid down on his bed, hung his head over the side and cried until I went in and pet him. He is an absolute terror and at the same time, the sweetest little alligator I have ever met! Ruger has a few ways to deal with him. He will throw his "arm" across him and push him down to let him know he has had enough, if that doesn't work, he squishes him flat on the floor with his head which normally does the trick but on a few occasions when he was just out of control, Ruger shows all of his teeth, growls loud enough that Magnum can hear it and lunges right at him (He doesn't actually touch him and THAT works everytime. Magnum jumps up running and usually slams into the nearest wall/furniture trying to get away! It is something to see. LMAO
The STEALING is Mason's worse habit right now, Kris:mad: I feel your pain, and yes the "tantrums" and "backtalk" I get are normal, Magnum sounds like a hoarder lol! Such a trooper. How does Ruger handle him if he gets a little excited?

Well with a white dog he's a magnet for dirt

I meant so that Magnum can "feel" the growl NOT hear it. Try to get past all of my typo's. I swear I know how to spell all of the words but I need a manicure and my nails have gotten too long and I am missing keys when I type. LOL

I was just looking at Ruger's growth chart. At 11 weeks he was 39 pounds and Magnum will be 12 weeks Friday and he is 38 pounds. It just seems so crazy!

2 horses in the house...

Let's start the shopping with:
1) a horse trailer
2) a brand new truck to pull said horse trailer
3) a California king size bed for just the dogs

Anything else? I think that's a good start.

Oh my GAWD! The pair of 'em! How do you get any work done? I'd be trying to find ways to crawl into the middle of all that wonderfulness and just stay there!

That little alligator of yours just screams "BLAH HA HA HA HA I LOVE LIFE!!!!"

Actually, I think I have decided then when I get moved, I am just going to get another king sized bed and slide the two together and that should do it. :)
Better get going on that bed and a bigger vehicle!!

I will be keeping my truck for the time being (I absolutely love it) and so far we are good on that one. Deciding to get another king size bed resolves the sleeping issue AND these spoiled brats wouldn't even consider riding in a trailer. LOL

It is difficult not to just get lost in them. :) Yes, Magnum LOVES life and he is always on the go. He is hilarious. He hops, trots, runs full speed but never just walks. It is even cuter because his ears aways find thier way to the inside out position. LOL

Mason was a tad "underweight" when I got him at 9 weeks but he was 21 lbs and 13" , get ready Kris for more rapid growth it usually slows down around the 11 month, but not always. You should take weekly photos.

Thanks, Chuck! Magnum had his vet appointment today and checked out just fine! They say that he is looking great! He wasn't able to get his rabie shot because I had his age messed up (Don't ask me how I had him figured wrong.) He will be 15 weeks this Friday so he isn't old enough for that shot yet so we will be going back one more time. LOL Sooo......At almost 15 weeks, he weighed in at 56.6 pounds! Yikes...he is doing some serious growing!

Wow he's getting BIG! Snappy alligator :D That's hilarious.

Mason will be officially 6 months next week. So far he is 30" at the shoulder and weighs 80lbs. I'm still amazed how he's beginning to tower over Stone.

He sure is! He is gaining weight at almost the same rate as Ruger did! That surprises me. Souns like Mason is growing up BIG, too. Stone done growing?

Thank you. It has spread a bit and doesn't look exactly like a heart anymore. :-(
Magnum is too cute for words! Does he still have his heart spot?
