Looking for family companion

Hello! New to this forum and need a little help. My husband and I have been looking at boerboels for about 10 years. We have looked at around 6 different breeders but felt that the breeders we looked at were in it more for the money and not for the quality. We have an 8 year old daughter and are wanting a family companion with good temperament. We would appreciate if anyone could suggest a good breeder within 250 miles of Louisville Kentucky. I have looked in the breeder forum but didn't find much. I am reluctant to adopt a boerboel having an 8yr old daughter. If it were just my husband and I would definitely go that route. I would feel a lot more comfortable knowing where the dog came from and it's history. I'm looking for someone who has purchased a boerboel from a breeder they would recommend.

You need to talk with Diane Seaman. She is in KY and is breeding fantastic Boerboels. She just picked up 2 from South Africa and may be selling one of them.

I've have my new Boerboel for 4 months and he's just what I expected. I got mine from Skyview Kennels in Hammondsville, Ohio. I'm not sure how far that is from you but it has to closer to you then from me and I live in Tenn. Good luck on your search.
