Lomu, my bullmastiff

After a long wait, Lomu is home. I picked it up on 12-24 and brought also a sister from the same litter (called Bazooka and bought by my ex-wife) that stayed with me for the first 4 days. My kids are having twice the fun, as you may imagine. The two littermates will be spending a lot of time together although raised in different homes.I understand everybody likes pictures...? Here we go

And doing what puppies do best... At 2 months their weight was:Lomu - 7.7 kgs (16.975 lbs)Bazooka - 7.1 kgs (15.652 lbs)I am having a lot of fun with this puppy(ies)!

Lomu is 700grs heavier in fact; the harness will have to be adjusted but it will only be needed a month from now. I put them just to see if they were the right size.

Hopefully Lomu will be a light fawn. It´s my second favorite coat (after brindle); Bazooka will most likely be a true red. Nice contrast

Yesterday I went to the vet to give Lomu the 2nd set of shots and he weighted in at 8.4kgs (18.5lbs). Quite a difference from my home scale just 2 days before (700gr or almost 3lbs). I new my scale was not very accurate so I will rely on the vets scale.Oh, and he is a escapee...Somehow he climbed the expen (2´high) and came out. When my son went home to give him lunch he was sleeping in my daughters bedroom. I already fixed the problem so he doesn´t do it again.

The breeder pre-selected 3 of the five available males and I chose this one at around 6 weeks (first picture above).
