So yesterday at the Evelyn Kenny dog show just out side of Calgary the CCCA (Canadian Cane Corso Association) hosted a CGN test. We were asked if Aurora and I would be the meet and great dog for that portion of the test. Of course we said yes and it was a blast. Aurora was awesome, ignoring all the dogs, being her snobby self. The judge was really impressed with her and came after the test and congratulated us on what a rock solid girl she was, and an asset to the breed.
Of course I am proud that we could help represent the breed and had a great day with a bunch of CC folks. We had about 15 dogs, was all breeds, but we seemed to have a bunch of Mastiffs testing.
There were about 7 Corso showing conformation, which in this breed is a great turnout, so all in all it was a successful event.
Next month is the CCCA booster at the Alberta Kennel Club show. I am so looking forward to it!
Plus I get to go play with the pups from Darkstone's newest litter in the next few weeks, whoop whoop a puppy breath fix.
