I think you have been given some good advice, I too wanted to "weigh in". It does sound like your pup has the fila temperament. I have not owned one, but I did talk to lots of owners and met some breeders before deciding they were too much dog for me. I agree that you will not ever "train" or "condition" her out of that response. The older she gets the more you will see it. I was told the females mature faster than the males and it is not uncommon for full temperament by 9-12 months of age. I would continue the socialization, but just be watchful and you may also want to look into a vest that says "do not pet, dog in training". That way people will be respectful of your space. Also obedience training. Try to find a trainer you are comfortable with that understands your dog breed and is willing to have the class give you your space, or train one on one.
