I have a small dilemma .

Well to start off I received my cane corso pup @ 6weeks old the breeder said he had started eating mesh food so he was ready 4 pick up .....before all of this I had read and research the breed 4 about 5 yrs totally didn't jump in to it with my eyes close and loved all I read & its traits especially how it bonds with its family & great with small children & animals ....ok well I thought it was a bit early for him to leave his home with its mom ,because I had read that she would show him what was ok to do and correct the bad as far as biting and growling. Well I had to do just about all of that and I tell you he has some Sharp teeth ,he drew blood from my wrist ,I was as firm as I could be with out beating him ,he would growl when he was eating or if we try picking him up just had a rough edge ....well glad to say we have none of that I can stick my hand in the bowl as he eats pick him up when we please ....but now we go for walks and man he hates any1 he doesn't know dogs and people alike he doesn't discriminate small or big .... I should mention that I also have a 7 month old pitbull yes the meanest most feared dog in the media well he has never growl bit or as much been aggressive towards anyone or anything ....well I'm not naive at all and have had dogs in the past never a cane corso or a mastiff for that matter ...well I guess what I'm asking is this normal for him to be doing ?,or is it just a puppy thing that he's going through ....and don't get me wrong we love the Hell out of the little guy just need a heads up...because he won't be a little guy to long oh yeah his 3 months now.

He growls at strangers? Is he fearful, backing away kinda behind you, or is he getting out in front of you and squaring off so to speak?
First off 6 weeks is WAY to young to leave it's momma and siblings. What breeder did he come from? I would be very surprised if any reputable breeder would allow a pup to leave that young. I know my breeder prefers to keep to up to 10 weeks unless he knows that the dog is coming into a well adjusted stable pack. You need to socialize like mad, get him out. I do not mean on a daily walk, I mean he needs to be in places where there are lots of people, stores, city center, public transit, enroll in a puppy class. Crap I do not remember the numbers but by 3-4 months your puppy should have met 100 people. This breed is imperative to socialize like mad.
Get him out to as many places as possible, Walmart parking lots, grocery carts, drop cans full of rocks near him, metal bowls on concrete near him, stand by train tracks, any and every thing you can think of.

Oh and btw I doubt there is a lot of adverse reactions to pit bulls on this board
By nature a pit bull should be one of the least human aggressive dogs out there. Even the &%#&(%%$$# a**wipes who fight them cull human aggressive dogs. Is counter productive to have a dog that will go after a person in the ring.

6 weeks is way too young! And NO reputable breeder would let a pup go home that early.

How old is the pup now? Have you done any kind of socializing with him?

First I like to say I agree with all u say I know I have my work cut out ,I will put in the time and effort ,not to say that I haven't till this point matter of fact I have my whole family in on the walking feeding the training that we do @ home ets ...he is a well behaved dog in the house not @ all destructive...and no not afraid @ all just the other day he was challenging a english mastiff full grown ,his hair up on his back and all ,but I'll take your advice and do so ...thanks

Thanx moose and yes I am a member of the pitbull -chat..not really saying any thing bad about it but I was on there first that's how I found this forum and to tell u the truth I feel real welcomed here just feel a lot of love here and extremely helpful on any subject ....just saying ...u guys r welcome 2 look me up on there n check out my album its full of pix from chopper Jr that's my pits name ,i am under the same name Rich103
