How to get a pup to take a crap in the ice/snow?

Definitely have him checked just to make sure... But, if it makes you feel better my previous cc would only pee and poo on grass, when the first snow hit took him 2 days to figure it out. What's funnier, when the snow started to melt he wouldn't go on the grass. He would actually search out little snow islands to do his business...until they were the size of a plate. He would somehow fit it. Lol
That's too funny!

On a side note, there are no 8 cars blocking the entrance and exit to the complex. I'm sure there are more, those are the cars in front of my building. :( Again, people are idiots!

What does it say that I keep checking this thread for a poop update? I think I've been in the house too long. LOL

lotsa fun. As if the cars already stuck there weren't enough of a clue that trying to go out is a bad idea!

I like the astro turf idea.
Just wash it down when he is done and keep it handy for potti breaks.

Sorry I don't have any advice MD...I live in Alabama and can't tell you the last time it snowed or we had ice on the roads. It was only in the 40's here this morning and my 2 babies peed & pooped quick so they could get back inside and get warm!! Good Luck, I hope everything goes well with Titan!!

what about boiling/heating some water and going out and dumping it on the grass right before you take him out?

Good idea but we didn't get above freezing yesterday and would have refrozen. :( We're hitting 34 today. I was able to kill some of the ice with my hammer yesterday on the steps. Once the ice starts melting today, I'll sweep off the grass. Things we do for our babies! I'll be sweeping off the grass... hehehehehehe

Daisy will walk on the ice in the dog yard but not back by the pool. To torture her I threw some bird seed around the pool. Bad idea, the torture is on me, now she stands at the back door and barks her fool head off at all the birds.

The eagle landed! We walked around the same area for about 45 minutes. Finally!

Hey, Iron Mike, didn't know you were in TX. Cool!
