How much do you spend $$$

Sorry Ruth, I'm not trying to brag. There are at least 4 other raw feeders on here from Texas. When I first started I was paying about 4 to 5 a pound. If others hadn't shared their price list with me I would have been happy when I hit 2 dollars a pound, instead I knew to keep looking and was able to get it down even cheaper. I do empathize with those that don't have the opportunities that I do living in Houston.

Deb, Kroger just had brisket for 1.69 a pound, pretty cheap for beef. Over the Labor day weekend it should be even cheaper.
WOW! Thanks...that's a good price. I'll definitely do a sweep of the stores on labor day.

Probably about 80/month for kibble....not including canned food, treats and chewies that I buy

I have three large dogs and they are going through approximately 2 bags of TOTW a month - try to stock up when Tractor SUpply has it on sale so I can get 10% off or $5.00 a bag off. Just for kibble, I spend about 100 if you include the tax!

I spend about $280. a month for two dogs. I live in Manhattan so everything is very pricey. I buy my meat and turkey necks from the butcher or the farmer's market, then I add some Bravo raw food that includes veggies and ground up bones. My corso eats about 2 1/2 lbs of raw a day and my lab eats about 1 1/2 a day.

$65 for her kibble (which I'm probably switching so it'll go up again) and another $20-$30 on wet food and biscuits or bones.

I buy about 2 large bags of TOTW at 63 bucks a bag and after ten I get one free so I spend about 130 a month I guess, growing puppy needs his food lol.

My EM puppy is eating a lot (8-9 cups a day), so I'm not entirely sure. He's on a 45USD for a 30lb bag. He goes through at least a bag and an half a month (I notice that I order food every 2-3 weeks). I've had him on more expensive dry food that wasn't making his tum happy, so now he's on the Taste of the Wild Salmon (he's turned out to not do well with meats or grains) so it's hard to find food at his age that works and it's too high in protein. My lab eats Earthborn Holistic at about same price for 28 lbs. Only one that bag every 5 weeks. The cat eats Pure Vita Salmon at 20 for a 6.6 lbs. I stopped totting up my pet food costs as they were making me sad. Ruled at raw food because it would have been about $300 or more a month to feed both of them here in Minnesota. A couple of acquaintances hunt so a few times a year I get deer and pheasant off them. On occassion that the dairy farm slaughters I get some meat for the pups as well.
