I have heard Acana a few times. I am taking him off blue but have to do the transition. Best joint food is all Im after and of course quality and goodness

The Acana Duck and Pear is in that range too (the calcium/phos ratio isn't perfect, but isn't far off, and everything else is good), so if thats easier to find go for it.

They have a new Pork and Butternut Squash one as well. I think most of the single protein source ones are for sensitive dogs and allergies. Still a good option.

The Calcium's 1.9 and the calcium/phos ratio is even further off than the Duck and Pear one though,.

Yeah. I just mentioned it cause those are meant for special cases. Less animal based protein than the Classics and Regionals. Although I'm not sure how accurate their site is with the levels. My Wild Prairie bag says 1.3/0.9 and the site says 1.5/1.1

Depends on how quickly the are to update bags vs the site I'd expect, but the Pork is new enough I'd expect it to be pretty close.

We have only had him for 3 days now. Still doing the switch. I have read a lot on here and online that popping noises are common in mastiff pups. Just a growing thing. I am going to keep an eye on all his movements. He goes back to the vet in 4 weeks so I will have them check again and every visit after that. I am not going to worry sick about something that might be nothing

I know how much it hurts to lose a pet especially one that was dear to your heart. It was hard losing my first EM & every once in a while I still cry over losing her. Didn't help that my pet sitting client just text & told me last night my Bear Bear (her 8-9 yr old EM) had to be put down yesterday so I had a little bit of a Jessie/Bear cry. But what I always tell myself is I'll see them again. I know Murphy will be waiting for you when it's your time.

I had a very rough year. My father died in Aug, my Grandmother(his Mom) 3rd week of Nov and Murphy Dec 11th. I didn't think I would ever get another dog. We had Murphy in the hospital for 4 days But when I seen this boy needing a new home I couldn't say no. I have lots more love to give. I know Murphy is with my Dad. My Dad loved him. That makes me smile. We got Lincoln on Wednesday night, had him to the vet Thursday morning and he mentioned HD. My heart sank. I looked at the vet and said "well he was suppose to come to me, I will do everything to make the best for him"
Now I have a shadow that bumps me all the time lol
My heart is good!
