I live in Wisconsin with my husband, our son, 2 dogs (Amber-a 3.5 year old rescued pit bull, and Andre-a 7 month old Dogue de Bordeaux), and 2 cats (Runty and Cuda).

Welcome! Love that you have a pit bull and a bordeaux! My next dog is going to be a pit bull but for now i have my first bordeaux Moose, he is 5 months old now. Cant wait to see some pics of both you babies!

Hi and welcome! How does your DDB get on with your cats? I was told my dog Ben would never get on with them (he's a bullmastiff DDB cross) but haven't had a problem in nearly two years of having him and he ends to be treated like a big smelly matress by the cats in the winter months.

Hi there everyone. Thanks for the warm welcome! Andre (our DDB) loves the kitties. He wants to play with them, but they aren't that playful most of the time. Our previous DDB used to wrestle and chew on one of our cats, so I think people who automatically say the breed will never get along with cats are not very bright. Anything is possible. I'll have to find and post some pictures of them playing with the cats.
