Halloween??

Okay all my Fila people I am curious about Halloween. What do you do with your dogs? As I am sure this must be extremely stressful for all the weird creatures of all shapes, sizes, and colors to be at your door for hours on end.

you mean, "thank you for bringing the snacks to our door" holiday!!!!!!

my girls go out around 5 and then are in for the rest of the night. usually around 11pm, I will let them out to potty.
I live in the city and have LOTS of kids in the neighborhood and a ton more get dropped off to trick or treat. I take my
kids to our church trunk or treat at like 5:30 and home by 7. they have to be crated in my back room or we wouldn't be able to
give out candy or do anything else!

LMAO!! I was so curious how you would handle it. I would imagine that they still go crazy with every knock? Does it stress them out?

actually, we leave the door open so we see them first. but, even if we miss a few, the girls are pretty content in their crates so stress is not to high.

got sidetracked.....

my kids have in the past, come to me with the sad eyes claiming the girls are sad and want to be with them. so I have let them bring Flower into my dd's room with her door shut, that was HORRIBLE!!! she freaked everytime she heard someone talk and was trying to get out the bedroom window. plus, scratching the door and biting the know!! so, we will never do that again!

I just crate or put my dogs in the yard as long as it isnt raining or freezing.

Luckily, we don't get the little brats. Too far between each house and no sidewalks. We rarely got them before the Filas. We don't get any now. I do keep my light off just in case and the dogs are in the bedroom with us.

Much the same here. While there ARE kids on the road I've never even seen them out unless they're out before I get home or something. But we keep the lights off anyway....
