A couple of weeks ago, at the Jefferson, WI show, which is a BM specialty event, my guy Dozer took a five-point major and was put up for an award of merit. Now, I'm relatively new at showing dogs and didn't really understand the significance of the AOM. The owners of Dozer's parents, both of whom have been showing BMs for nearly two decades, say his AOM, at only 13 months of age, at a specialty event, is quite uncommon.

Congratulations to both of you on this accomplishment. You should be very proud. Also, that is one good looking boy. :)

Thank you, both. We’re heading to Kalamazoo tomorrow through Memorial Day for the five-day show there, which is also a specialty show. I’m hoping he’ll finish his championship at some point during the weekend.

Congrats! He really is handsome, and has a nice presence.

BTW, I went to Kalamazoo College back in the 1980's. Pretty town. :)

Good Luck to you and Dozer!

No win on Friday at the Bullmastiff specialty in Kalamazoo. Best of Winners (4-point major) yesterday. Winners Dog (4-point major) today. He's finished. Champion Ishana's TNT Earth Mover. Very happy. :)

Thanks, Iymala. I was pleased that both Dozer's breeder and stud dog owner (standing in pic) were present to see him finish. The stud owner showed him most of the weekend, but due to unforeseen circumstances, was unable to do so on the day he finished. I showed Dozer myself on finishing day, which made it even more special. :)

Dale, I’m going to keep at it. He’ll be going against the top competition now in open class, so I’m not expecting much success at first. He needs to fully develop yet. Also looking at UKC and perhaps Canadian shows -- Windsor east to the Toronto area, mostly.

Great I hope he does well trying to get his GCH. You really never know how he will do just as you thought before that it may take some time he blew right through getting his championship. I don't know if they have Iabaca shows in your area but I've heard that they are good to go to also .I plan on going to one in July.
