my boy is almost 2yrs and the top of his nose is getting a rough ridge at the end it doesn't look like a wart or anything like that and it doesn't bother him any ideas? Also he has the run's a lot he's been to 3 different vet's and nothing. Thanks

I kind of went through something like that with my dog, if it's the same thing, I had two vets say there was nothing they could do. Another Vet suggested neospirin, and that did seem to clear it up, she said it was just dry and after it was cleared up to use Vaseline to keep it moist.

My dog had that too when he was a puppy and the vet said it was nothing to worry about. just apply ointment. it had to do with the sun...

Use a bag balm that you can get at any livestock type of store and some pet stores. It is a cauliflower nose...or dry. Nothing to worry about but the bag balm is the same stuff used on the utters of cows. Stops dryness and keeps things clean from bacteria.

Our other ddb had this all her life. We live in a dry desert area and one of our vets called it desert dry nose. I will never forget this about her dry nose. One of my high school girlfriends met her for the first time and said What's wrong with that dogs nose? It looks like Mold. Lol! We would use the vitamin e pills on it.
