Following Mazey's surgery, I spent quite a bit of time sitting in her ex pen with her. I discovered very quickly that all of these nice dog beds we have actually offer like zero support and are only slightly better than sitting on the ground. It's no wonder my two seniors and even the puppy, Rhaegar, are slow getting up off of them. So that started my kick of trying to find some decent orthopedic beds. I know big barker beds are supposed to be awesome, and I've never heard anything but rave reviews on them, but one of those just wasn't in the budget right now. I decided to try the Integrity orthopedic memory foam bolster bed. I got an xl off of Overstock for 110 dollars, and I'm actually quite happy with it. My only complaints are that I was hoping it would be a little larger (only two of the dogs can fit on it at once, and I was kind of hoping that all three could squeeze onto it) and the black cover really shows dirt. Otherwise, the dogs all really like it, it's really thick and barely sinks down beneath their weight, and I can't feel the floor when I sit on it. So it might be a good option for anyone else who wants a good orthopedic bed but can't afford 250+ dollars on a big barker.
