First Heat..

So, Gemma just started her first heat and she is our first female dog ever.. If anyone has any suggestions I would be greatly appreciative.. We started with doggy diapers which lasted all of 5 minutes and we are now in depends and panties. She is constantly trying to chew them off.. There has to be a better way, right?

No, alas there is not.
If the doggie diapers don't work try men's underwear on backwards, tail through the hole with some pads.
It Sucks but only lasts...well...around a month in total... sorry to say.
Just stay on her and don't let her chew. Good luck
