There was a CL listing a while back that were advertising dogs from LD in my area. She was selling pups but mentioned she was going to import "real" Filas in the next couple of months.

I guess.....I was just surprised to see the breed in my area. So of course I had to pry, that was what she told me. Didn't go beyond that.

Though I met Luis yanez and didnt have a bad experience got everything on time not sick puppy met both parents would have died trying to pet them and Athena is also very defensive she's about 100 pounds and very good condition I would not get another one from them...I think we might have acted prior to thinking and Athena will be spayed....

Yea I found a breeder who just had a litter, I want to go visit them before I get the puppy of course. I hope I can see the adult dogs in action without getting my face bitten off lol.

Can I ask which breeder you found that currently has puppies?

They're in Miami. Coral gables to be exact.

I saw the pics of the pups on CL down here in Miami - not very typey - any idea what the pedigree is on them ? They have very high ear sets and are very mastiffy

Nope. Just that they're from "champion show dogs, not just backyard bred"

well spend your money wisely... how much are they selling the pups for ? would like to see the pedigrees and pics of the parents - the pics of the pups they have in their ads are unimpressive. Do you have any idea of lines/type in the breed ? What are you looking for type wise ?

I like performance dogs like game bred pits.. I'm gonna ask dude more questions tmrw, such as their pedigree, health & temperament. He's asking 600 for males & 800 for females. But I'd talk him down. Eh I might not end up getting one.

You have puppies? Or just in general to see what proper Filas look like lol?

no puppies, but I have a CAFIB approved male and a young female I imported from Portugal. I have had filas for many years... I enjoy meeting other people who are into the breed

yep, she has some good ones. BTW savage... champion bred dogs never go "on sale" they may be for sale but never on sale.

I went and found what I believe your talking about. One pic was cute. I'm no pro, but if them are champs girldogue should enter in that ring cause her dogs look way better. And like Juan said, you wont find champ lines for 600-800. I doubt you will see any real test for that either.

I'm not saying dont get one cause if you like em, well to each his own. Just be aware what your probly buying verse what they are selling
