Im pretty sure what my dog has is cherry eye. I just saw it when I got home from work today, and have a vet appointment for saturday morning. I was wondering if she is in pain and I should take off work and bring her tomorrow. Also---will this require surgery? And what type of hit to the wallet am I looking at(ballpark)

I don't think it hurts them but long term it can do damage if left out. Not sure of the cost but think a removal usually runs 300+ depending on your vet and the location on where you live.

With big dogs have it removed, tacking does not hold. Our St. Bernard had his tacked, it popped back out before we got home.

awww, she's so good looking!...Yes unfortunately indeed it's CE. Last time we went through it it was about $275-$300. But depends on the Vet. (they seem to scale this figure on whether or not you have a "large" dog.) Good luck. And please let us know how she's doing after she sees the doctor...
