English mastiff puppy teeth

At 8 weeks our vet told us our English mastiff didn't have his first and second molars. At 11weeks they don't appear to be coming in. This is our first English mastiff please let us know if we should be worried. He's eating and teething just fine.

I'm sure he will do fine.
My friend had a Great Dane who has most of his teeth knocked out
Being hit by a car and he did ok with a mix of kibble and canned.

No the vet wasn't worried but he doesn't see many mastiffs so I am looking for the answer myself

Max was a late bloomer with his teeth and had areas in his mouth for what seemed like a long time that were just gums. His teeth are a bit crooked on the bottom but things have all settled in nicely.
Food everywhere? He's a puppy....they're messy! The benefit to fewer teeth....less ouch when he's mouthy with you!
