The NAPR is not what real dog people consider as a registry. Basically you tell them what kind of dog you have and send some money and they give you papers. It does not prove your dog is pure bred. Its more of a gimmick. Thats not how reputable registries work.

UPPCC seems more legit though.

You want to find out what Registry the best confirmation and working dogs are registered under though. That will determine just how much the papers are worth.
