Our DDB/pit mix puppy Diesel is now 6 months old!!! He weighed in at 54 lbs this weekend so still a little guy.
He is still loving and sweet and gentle with everyone. He had just started to really decide he is a gaurd dog. He runs to the window whenever there is any noise outside and makes very soft quiet woof noises (distinctive from his demand barking).
I thought this gaurd behavior might make him more serious but nope. He is still a goofy clown.
And he still loves giving kisses.
And he now woofs in his sleep along with his constant soft snoring.
He has also become super loving towards his older "brother" (our 15 year old standard poodle). I was trimming cerberus paws this weekend (which he hates but puts up with well) and Diesel hovered anxiously approaching both of us every so often and licking our faces.
