I saw you posts about the Akbash and Kangal. I've had 2 Anatolians, 1 Anatolian/Akbash cross and currently an Anatolian cross... LOVE the breed. In the right environment and used correctly, you can't have a better LGD.

I got her from a local breeder and childhood friend. She is Centurion V Bear Mountain Jade Boerboel. Her Mother is Centurion Betamia father is Bear Mountain Bootu.

I love the Akabash, next to the Boerboel it is my favorite dog.

How old is jade? And how big?

Jade is now 11.5 months 25" and 130#. I am guessing the weight a little as I have not weighed her in 2 months and she was 125 then. Her neck is 25" I don't know her length yet or leg size. But she is a little thin in the legs but as a female it's acceptable.

Sorry i am not familiar with boerboels.... How big do they get? I love her face those wrinkles!

I have seen males at 200lbs and females at 160lbs. Both are considered big.

Jades ears stood up way better than beezles are. She is thirteen weeks and is just now able to hold both ears forward for a couple minutes.

Hi Kristen welcome to the group. The first part is admitting it, the second part is just go with it! beezle is a good looking dog her ears look good from here. Jade's ears go through all sorts of gyrations and I never know how they will look one minute to the next.
