what can you tell me about corsi in terms of temperament, i work at a shelter and while we have not gotten any of them in, there have been other shelter's in the area that have and lately I've had a few people come in specifically looking for them. My concern is that they may or may not be suitable for the breed and get into trouble. From what I understand they can be tough and would do best with someone who has had a fair amount of experience with dogs. I hate to see them become the latest craze with people that cannot handle them and then the dog gets screwed. What basic info can I relay to people who inquire about getting a corso? I usually tell people to check with rescue groups for whatever breed they are looking for to give them info that I cannot provide, I assume that a good breeder will screen and educate any prospective buyers but with the pet stores or people who buy dogs from pet stores that doesn't happen and their stock does not come from reputable breeders.
