"Chev" dipping on a hot day

Hello everyone,
I will try to post a pic of Mr. Chev enjoying an "almost" swim in the cool water of our loca township park Sandy Beach. And my dogs sure know what those words mean when I tell them, "Let's go to Sandy Beach." Any suggestions for less soft stool would be appreciated. This seems to be a major thing with mastiffs. Let me know.
Blessings, all.

Great photo! He's such a handsome dog. Love the expression on his face - as if he's not quite sure about it all.

As far as the soft stool - if he's on kibble you could be feeding him too much. Try backing off the amount just a little and see if things firm up. Is he on any new "treats" sometimes that can cause it too. We never could get Angus to firm up which was one of the main reasons we switched to raw.

I feed raw, so too-soft means I need to add some more bone-in meals.... most of Denna's poops are small hard nuggets - we call them rabbit poops around here... :)

I agree with trying smaller meals to start, and see if that helps.
You could look for treats with pumpkin in them (or add 1T of pure canned pumpkin to meals) and see if that does anything for him.

Sure looks like he's having fun in that photo! :)
