Thanks we are happy with the pairing and will continue to see how they develop, the hard part will be the decision on who to keep and who to place.

Yeah we are rushing, just observing everyone and making notes on each one. Will check temperaments at 7 weeks and use that to help with final decisions with the conformation we are seeing at that point.

We are having a lot of fun with the buggers though! Is going to seem so quiet here when they go :(

They look great, Mary! Love them! :)

Picking a pup to keep from a litter stresses me out big-time. lol ... Sometimes we pick well, sometimes we don't. From our last Kai litter we kept a female and I soooooooo wish I had kept the other female in the litter (only 4 pups in the litter). Oh well, what can you do? Ya know?

Thanks Brad! We are are excited about our new addition(s). All we can do is pick the best one based on what we see in front of us at the time and the temperament we are looking for :) and with luck they mature the way we hope. You win some you lose some and hopefully learn something with each litter.

We are coming up on decision time :( and it is going to be a hard decision to make. It has been fun to have all these little guys here but I now have much more appreciation for breeders that have been doing it for years and why they say after 5 or so weeks you are ready for them to leave. They are brave souls :) It will be nice to have a house that I can walk barefoot in again without worrying what I might put my foot in :D

Temperament tests will be done next weekend and then will be the final decision time. Any guess on who is staying or going? Or opinions?
