Can a fila ever be adopted?

This goes for guns as well. My 7yo daughter can dissamble, clean, assemble, SAFELY load and unload, and SAFELY fire more firearms than a few men I know. Ill probably get blasted for this but oh well. I think a child that knows about guns and knows what kind of damage they can do is much safer and lees likely to be involved in a tragic accident than a kid who is just told don't touch they are bad....

We're wandering off topic lol, but I happen to agree, that children raised to SAFELY handle and understand guns are far less likely to play with guns than those who're kept in the dark and then find one at a friends house and decide to play cops and robbers....my husband was raised in a hunting household, as were his sibs, and he says he honestly can't recall ever thinking of guns as "toys" because they were taught from such an early age how to handle them correctly and what they were for.

I want a fila so bad. I brought it up to the hubby again this morning. He's kinda unsure about it. We do have grown children and teenage children with friends so I can see the hesitation. It's the same reason he won't let me get a gun till the kids have all grown. The day the last one moves out I am buying both!

This country is changing rapidly. If you want a gun for defense I would buy it now while you still can. If you you are worried about your kids accessing it you can disassemble it, put a trigger lock or put a big zip tie thru the action until they leave the house. Also you can purchase a fire safe(great for pictures etc also). Things are going to get crazy in the next 20 years, make sure you can protect your family. The thugs will always be armed.

what he said, tomorrow might be too late and outlaws will always have guns... now back to your regularly scheduled topic of Fila's.. lol

Cwayaustx.....that is awesome! I wish my daughter had that kinda initiative. I think every kids should at least know how to SAFELY handle and fire a weapon if one is in the house.

Hey got to give your mom and dad credit for trying. My folks would just say keep that crazy @ss dog away from me lol. And I can't imagine why Fred could be scared of little old Kona... hahahaha
My mother calls Titan, The Devil, and refuses to come near him. She tried to come into my apartment once and he wouldn't let her. She slammed the door and ran. I mean, it's ok with me if she doesn't visit, but Titan is not The Devil and he's not a Fila.

BTW, Filas fascinate me. Maybe one day...
