Congratulations on your new addition to your family! ;)
I was going to quote and paste the replies made from some ppl in this thread but have decided just to say hat I have to say... I have noticed that often we Mastiff owners are very eager to assist anyone and everyone with very helpful advice. I for one am someone who has since just joining received a lot of very very helpful information on my boys and I have also befriended a few ppl and I am very grateful that there is a forum for Mastiff's so that (because I dont have all the answers) my fellow forum members can and do guide me in my quest to find answers or solutions to my issues or concerns. No ones intention is to come on board to trash bash or chew up and spit out anyone's posts, pics or personal experiences. I know that this is a bit off topic but that's exactly why I am posting it.
Bantu has posted a number of posts and comments (so to speak) and to be honest I have not seen one by this individual that has not been condescending or in some cases down right rude. I was given a heads up from one of my fellow "posters" and was told to simply ignore the ignorance and arrogance of Bantu. I really dont care if he is a he or a she. If you cant be nice or keep your comments to yourself about things you read then please do not say anything at all. I have also noticed that Bantu does not post in relevance to the subject posted. So Bantu although I do not know you or know if in fact you are a Mastiff owner but what I do know it that you are not very nice sometimes and quite condescending actually. Like someone said already in this post we cant always stop ppl from making a choice that was not clearly thought through but we can educate them going forward and share helpful hints and personal experiences. I for one did not join to be bashed or trashed or for that matter second guessed, so having said that Bantu please make sure that you think about what you have to say and 1- make sure it is relevant to the topic and stop being so damn rude sometimes.

So back on track congrats on your new addition and wishing well and best of luck in your journey with your gentle giant :)

This past April I lost my brindle BM to cancer and it was the darkest time in my life thus far. He was wonderful and amazing and I miss him terribly still every single day.

Congrats on your BM, she is very adorable!!! I second getting her into puppy classes as soon as you can to socialize with other pups!

I agree, getting a pup (regardless of breed) at a trade fair, home show or farmer market it not an ideal circumstance BUT there is no way that I could not rescue that pup if I have the means to at the time, from someone who thinks it is a good idea to remove a pup from it's mommy at such an early age.

Sometimes the best things come out of the blue and are unexpected! Again, congrats, I look forward to seeing more pics of your brindle baby!

Bantu, What is your deal, dont be so mean. Im sure this board was set up to help people, not so people like you can make themselves feel better by looking down on others. Get a grip!
