Any tips? Does anyone know the cost breakdown on the bags compared to normal freezer bags. Know the cheapest place to buy bags?

Thanks!

We have one that we use for packing venison during hunting season. We use gallon-size freezer bags for grinder-bound scraps and butcher paper for roasts, but those vacuum bags work great for the chops, steaks, loins, etc. We buy the off-brand bags at Shopko and haven't had a problem yet. You definitely don't need to buy the Food Saver-brand stuff to get the most out of it.
