Y'all ought to be ashamed of yourselves. These poor boys are snoozing in the privacy of their bedroom only to have their parents posting puppy porn shots of their junk online. LOL!

Angus will sleep like that ANYWHERE! Remember - there is no such thing as privacy with a mastiff in the house. :lolbangtable:Funny thing with him though - he doesn't snore on his back, only on when he sleeps on his side.

He is adorable. I love your boxer too. We had two boxers but they recently passed and that is why we are now searching for our new pup. The next one is going to be an EM. I will always be in love with boxers though.

If you've raised boxer puppies you will do fine with mastiff's ~ our boxer girl was the WORST puppy I've ever had (I grew up in a family that was dog obsessed. Grandparents on both sides bred dogs.) I lover her dearly but she was the most stubborn dog until she got to about 5 years of age. Now she is a dear, but has yet to forgive us for bringing that "beast of a boy puppy" into her house! LOL - she can still run circles around him outside but inside she is less than fond of being sat on!

Maybe that is why so many seem to sleep that way, easier to breathe. Daisy just sleeps on her side and snores like a freight train. :)

Angus is now 6 months old! WOW has time flown and I can't believe how quickly he's grown into a big guy. I know he's not at half his adult weight yet but he's bigger than out other dogs and any adult dog we've had in the past. Stopped by the vet'st his morning and he's 92 lbs!!! 10x what he was when we brought him home 4 months ago!

Angus has a beautiful mask.
Thanks Deb - his mask really has developed in the past couple weeks and I didn't realize how much until after I looked at his photo. We now jokingly call this his "consitter" position - he was considering the stay command to not chase the Chi round the dining room table for the 50 zillionth time that day.

That's funny, the 50 zillonth time.

We call it "reindeer games". The Chihuahua runs under the table and chairs where he can't fit and Angus goes around and around the outside trying to catch her - this is AFTER he rips her blanket off and she starts chasing him. About that time the boxer joins in and it's all fun and games until somebody gives the "kennel" command and they have to stop....yes mean doggy mom! :D We've all tried to get a video of it but end up laughing so hard we forget.

View attachment 46428 This one's a little dark but had to share - he's so funny that he loves just to chill out and watch TV with us. Wonder what he's thinking.....OK maybe I don't want to know! :D

How do you get him to be so calm on the couch?! I wish more than anythign that we could allow Duke to snuggle on the couch with us but even when he's calm, if we get him on the couch he goes NUTS and tries to eat blanket, hands, faces.... he's impossible to snuggle right now :(

Thanks for the laugh! Angus snuggles when HE wants to. He's gets too warm easily so cuddle session are very brief and usually when he is ready to go to sleep for the night. To answer your question, we don't allow rough housing or playing on the couch. From the time he was big enough to get up onto it we enforced the lay down or get off clause. Didn't take very long for him to catch on. The exception to this is with our 17 year old daughter - its a total love fest between the 2 of them - he's game to kiss and cuddle with her anytime!

Another month has flown by! Angus is now 7 months. Did get a height measurement this morning - 28.5 inches at his withers. Guessing he's pretty close to 100 lbs but haven't' been by the vet's to weight him recently. Lean and lanky right now.

Angus 7 months.jpgMom - I'll taste it for you....really I will! ...just to be sure its ok.

HAHAHAHAHAHA smart mom!! It's just like our backyard!!

We have an acreage and the current favorite and only ALLOWED digging spot is where we pulled out grape vines. Angus loves the roots for some strange reason. He's gotten bored with trying to find the moles that dig out behind the shop - he hears them but not finding any of them doesn't make it fun. He's all about the reward for his work - a nice dirty root to try and bring in the house is much more rewarding. For a while he was obsessed with digging in the bark dust around some of the newly planted trees - getting yelled at and his feeling hurt by daddy (who is ADORES) stopped that. Such silly dogs!:D

Been a while since we got a weight. This morning he got his microhip and tipped the scales at 110 lbs. Not bad for 8 1/2 months - gaining right at 3 lbs a week still. He is 32 inches at the withers - really going through a leggy phase. Our boxer walks under him now. Couch buddies.jpgCouch "besties"
