Adult Dry Food.....Help

I have a 3 year old male English Mastiff named Brick(weighing roughly 130 lbs). First of all, he is an "only child" so he is very important. He has been fed Solid Gold throughout his awesome life(wolf cub to wolf king). My wife and I love Brick more than anything and want to make sure he is happy and of course most importantly healthy. His health has always been great and he has never had a problem with the Solid Gold food although there are times when the consumption slows from day to day(sometimes 18 hours). With that being said, I feel bad feeding my "son" the same dry kibble for the entirety of his life. Is it a mistake to want to change the food he has always been accustomed to which has always maintained his good health? Should I worry about his happiness due to taste and variety? Or, are there any changes to Solid Gold Wolf King lately that I should be aware of that make it an inferior food? Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If he's doing well I wouldn't worry about changing it up. It can be a pain to find a food these guys do well on so consider yourself lucky!
