Is food ok for a puppy? Anyone feed it?
Calcium (min): 1.3
Phosphorus(min):1
Ratio: 1.3:1
I know it isn't grain free - but I'm trying to find something that I can feed to both my male (that he will eat) and puppy. Ideally I'd like them both to be on Orijen 6 Fish (or I'd even settle for Acana Pacifica), but since the formula change my boy won't touch it....though now with the baby in the house he might be more inclined to eat it again (note to self to pick up a sample bag).
I had also thought that the Grasslands formula was ok for puppies, but from their website the numbers are high?
For convenience I'd prefer to keep them both on the same food - though I don't necessarily need to. They are both on Earthborn Coastal Catch right now. They seem to be doing ok on it, but both have had some soft/mushy (but formed) poo.
No big rush to switch, but I would like to somewhat soon. I do prefer fish based foods - did try Fromm but my boy, while liking the samples, didn't seem to like it as much when I actually bought the big bags of it.
