A question and a update on little Moe

My little tyke is doing "fine", gained some more weight, he is 5,1 lbs as of last Thurs, parasite free! Starting to get really mouthy and pawing with his little legs" mastiff style" when he is playing. He wants to play with Luke so bad but I think Lukes paw weight more then the pup so that can not happen for a while. Luke gets a little to exited still being a young dog himself.
Have tried to figure out if he really is the age I was told, 8 1/2 weeks today, but since he had vacc on oct 6th, I have his "booklet" [from a pharmaceutical company] with the vets name, why would she "forge" those? She had one for each pup. Why would she spend the money on vacc if they were younger then 6 weeks at the time?
Even though I have not even started to work on house breaking he will let me know by crying when he needs to go out and poop if he is in his kennel.
Honestly neither me or his vet thought he would make it this long, but he is a tough little guy. He still has a potbelly [ little smaller then it was] and some light edema under his belly, if the blood work next week don't come out "right" chances are there is something wrong that would entail seeing a specialist and extensive testing and that is out of my financial reach. He also had a heart murmur of course but that could be because of his sever anemia, his red blood cells count was 12%! normal is 39-60%, last check after his transfusion it was at 25%.
So to my question, his back legs are really bowed out, he looks like a bulldog from behind, my vet said he could possibly "straighten" up a little as he grows, anyone with any knowledge/experience with that? he does loose balance sometimes when trying to move to fast, can't tell if it is his big tummy or the back legs getting in the way.

Good to hear that he is improving, even if it's a slight improvement. That breeder should be .... I can't say it on the forum. :(

Bowed out legs could correct itself as he matures and he may be falling down so much because he is so young. Sounds like he didn't have a great start in life and his mom may not have been taken care of and who knows what health issues the parents may have of this poor little pup.

Hopefully, the tests come back that he will be ok and on the road to growing into a healthy pup.

The legs are most likely due to malnutrition and the health issues, as long as he keeps getting healthier, they should straighten a bit. Best wishes for the little guy.

Oh and I'll say it, the breeders need to be starved and the beat within a inch of there damned lives.

Thank you guys for the positive inputs about his legs.
Ripnlee, Thank you! but I'm no super mom, I'm only doing what any dog lover would have done meeting this little guy. Just wish I could have taken his 2 siblings also.
