I would suggest correcting the issues with dog #1, you could have a situation where Diesel could teach the new pup bad behaviors, then you would have problems multiplied x2. I have two and trust me....its ALOT of work! When one has behavioral issues, it can easily then project to the next dog.
Once you have a well adjusted and well rounded first dog, thats when you can really enjoy a second dog. Taking on two dogs is a huge undertaking!
