A few n00bie questions on my pup (Rolo)

Hi all *waves*

Right so last night I noticed that there was some blood on Rolo's chewy ball, not much just a spec really, so had a look in her mouth and one of her toothypegs was lose!!

First question: is that normal!? Like babies lose their milk teeth?

Secondly, if normal, should I help it along and pull it out or if she swallows it will it do her no harm?

Third question, does anyone elses pup get the hiccups? She gets them quite a lot, especially after play time or sometimes after eating or drinking. Sometimes she'll get them and just be laying down...

Thanks for taking the time to read :)

Yes puppies will lose all their baby teeth rather quickly, but no you don't have to help her along, it's a very natural process & won't hurt her if she swallows them. And the hiccups are normal too...my pup at 18 months will still get them on occasion but not as often as when she was a little puppy. Enjoy them, they won't last as often past 6 months or so. I love Rolo' name! Can't wait to see more pictures!

Hey Steph and Rolo. :D

Losing their baby teeth is perfectly normal and you will see a bit of blood from time to time. Give her lots of things to chew on and she will lose them all by herself. A frozen washcloth can help ease the teething pain a little. You only need to be concerned if they don't fall out in time. Oh, and stepping on one hurts. lol

Puppies get hiccups quite a bit, at least P did. She mostly gets them after she eats.

So, everything that's happening is absolutely normal. Enjoy your baby because she will grow very quickly. :)

I love the hiccups! It is the cutest thing ever. Oscar gets them less now, but probably still 3-5x/day? He recently lost his last baby tooth! I even found a molar in the couch cushion...gross ha! His poor hedgehog toy looked like it had been stabbed. Rolo is so stinking cute!!! Love her color :)
