I'm at petsmart with Carma looking for a bone. Carma is on a 6ft lead. This dumb a$$ lady just freezes in fear as we are trying to walk by. Not only does she look stupid she is in the middle of the isle. Carma is not barking or lunging. Hell Carma isn't even paying this lady attention until she freezes. I had to leave the isle and let her finish before I could get my baby a bone. Why would you even go to petsmart if you are that afraid of animals? Quick rant over.

see now, I would have gone super slow and let the girls take their sweet time deciding on a bone!

I used to encounter idiots like her a lot when I had Dogos and Pit Bulls. I would have to show EVERY bone
to my crew then!LOL!!

OK, I understand the initial shock and freeze. Truly I do. My thing is, if my dog is not at all even looking your way why STAY FROZEN. Fila4me I did let her look for a second but after the lady didn't UNFREEZE I just walked to another Isle.

Had a lady step off the curb into traffic yesterday because she was afraid of Jade. I grabbed her sweatshirt and pulled her close to the sidewalk. Silly woman almost got run over. She was Asian and did not seem to speak English but she was in total fear. I just petted Jade and walked on.

I was sitting out front tonight with Maddie and Flower, reading a book. a teenage girl came out of the house next door w/the neighbor girl(whom my girls love). they sat on her porch and were just chatting, well the girls heard their friends voice and went to the end of their 25 ft cables(only use in the front when I am out with them)wanting attention. neighbor girl comes off and pets them. her friend then proceeds to start screaming!!!I mean freaking the hell out about the BIG UGLY MEAN dogs!!!! so, the girls start going off on her! I called them back and this kid is still freaking out, neighbor girl is getting pissed at her and telling her to stop. she made her go inside and came over and apologized to me and the girls. this girl was an idiot!!!

Idiot! Lord, I bear the scars from a real dog attack...border colley...nearly lost my eye, ripped my ear lobe apart...I was three, I was running from the initial snarl and snap...food was involved. 27 stitches. I never blamed the dog. He lived into my teens and we carried on a careful, watchful relationship. I never ran from an animal after that.
When I see people acting all hyper and frightened of obviously gentle dogs, I know what their game is, they are narcissistic, manipulative grandstanders looking for an audience and not caring even if people think they are crazy, as long as they have the stage and the "poor, pity me", act. Disgusting. I think it's a type of mental illness.
