Feel free to delete 1 of the 2 threads I made, they weren't posting on my end, it said ''error'' when in fact it did post. So sorry about the dupe post.

I've heard of bullmastiffs being used for hog work in Austrailia. Good to see it confirmed.

There's a lady in California working and breeding bullmastiffs for catch work and home protection. Her instagram is project_guerrero_bullmastiff , she's trying to produce dogs that are physically and mentally capable of performing the way they are described in the breed history.

There's a girl (or guy?) on Instagram who has a very athletic brindle English Mastiff. Look up Riot River Mastiffs. I don't know if they just happened to wind up with an extraordinarily athletic EM, or what. But they, I believe, bred him to a Project Guerrero Bullmastiff and got a pup out of it that has the same brindle coat as their EM. They had the ears cropped. I love it! I asked them in a direct message how they found a vet that would crop a dog made up of two breeds that don't get cropped. They said the vet they went to had not issue with it at all.

Those Riot River dogs are quite the lean machines! I have a picture of some working EMs, it's the only one I've ever seen, so knowing there's more of them that are capable of athleticism and work, hybrid or not, is good to know.
