For me I wanted a Corso because of ALL the big dogs they are the only one that says "trainable" as breed characteristic. Not to mention they are slightly paranoid, bite hard AF and they are VERY family oriented. Growing up I thought Pit bulls were the greatest dogs ever. Then as I got older i realized Rottweillers were better for my needs. I always liked Corsos but the damn price made them unattainable for me. 1 day my wife asked if I wanted a Cane Corso I said hell yea. Then said how much? She was too cheap to believe. So after a couple weeks of prayers, delivery arrangements and negotiations we received our Hazel. Then a year later we rescued our boy Tig. Let me say I feel sorry for anyone trying to mess with my family. i want to add another couple (b/g) to our group every 5 years. That way I always have a seasoned dog training the youngsters.
