What breed do you think are Ramsey Snow's dogs.

Thanks for those suggestions! I'd recommend a trilogy by Justin Cronin - The Passage and The 12 are the first two, the third is due out end of May. It's a vampire apocalypse, the vampires are almost zombie like in that they have no coherent thought, people turn quickly when bitten and they act in a horde. The books were really good, I am very impatiently waiting for the 3rd!
I don't know of anyone else who is reading this trilogy. I am re-reading The Passage and The Twelve before I get City of Mirrors! Have you finished the 3rd book yet? How was it?

I am just about halfway through! It's just as good, but I think I'm going to put it down and re read both the 1st and 2nd books. It's hard to feel connected to the characters because it's been so long since I read them. I feel like I'm missing out because I keep trying to remember and piece things together in my mind as I'm reading.

I really love these books because the author is not a "horror" author and the writing is so good, the characters well developed, etc.

I finished. I did skim the second book before starting City of Mirrors. I liked the third book. I recently finished the final book in the Fifth Wave series and I was a little disappointed with that one. I was afraid that City of Mirrors would disappoint as well, but it didn't. Justin Cronin is definitely an author I'll keep my eye on. I actually have something else by him that I haven't read yet. It's on my queue after End of Watch by Stephen King.
