Thanks for those suggestions! I'd recommend a trilogy by Justin Cronin - The Passage and The 12 are the first two, the third is due out end of May. It's a vampire apocalypse, the vampires are almost zombie like in that they have no coherent thought, people turn quickly when bitten and they act in a horde. The books were really good, I am very impatiently waiting for the 3rd!

Oh my god I've just started watching the box sets of this.
Didn't think I'd like it but I'm hooked.

Oh and just so you know. The accent all the rougher blokes have is local to me. Not often I can understand every word on a show but I'm loving hearing northern accents. So often us Brits are all portrayed as border line Royal.

I just got it from the library and am on chapter 3! It's really good but I almost put it down to go reread the 2nd one. It's been so long I could hardly remember the individual characters...

Also, the 3rd of a Stephen King trilogy just came out, too, so that's next!

Was super excited to see Ramsey's dog up close in yesterday's GOT episode. Definitely cane corso and so beautiful.

Not often you can hear me saying "Awww so pretty" while something gruesome is going on. lol

I totally understand what you mean, my husband and I were talking about the dog through the whole scene and what a beautiful dog he is.
