What are some good Tibetan Mastiff breeders in the USA that have direct imports?

What are some good Tibetan Mastiff breeders in the USA that have direct imports (I am leaning more toward the native Tibetan variety and not the Chinese variety that often are oversized and overpriced)

I can point you to at least a couple very good breeders, but I don't know any who have direct imports in the last couple generations. The ATMA has put in place rules that severely restrict the using of imported dogs.

Thanks. I see your point ruthcarin but I am planning on getting a TM someday when I am more set. I think that very well could be over 10 years from now.

How about never. A TM is SO FAR from a Lab or Golden that its not even funny. You've got a heck of alot more maturing to do as a person much less as a dog owner before you'd be a reasonable candidate for a TM owner.

Hello Ruth. Some new developments in the world of TMs. AKC has just partnered with the CNKC on the behalf of the Tibetan Mastiff in China in March of this year. Those with approved 3 generation pedigrees will obtain AKC registration status just like FCI dogs do.

Rick, this guy was just asking for a recommendation to the most vicious and unstable dog ever so he could turn them into a therapy or service dog. He specifically stated he wanted the dog most likely to turn on its own family. This is NOT someone who should be owning a TM.
