  • Welcome back!

We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

What a disaster! My time to vent...

Thanks so much! Yes, I still cringe when I look at the pictures and think that the SUV was about 6 inches away from my daughter. We got the call today that the van is totaled and are waiting to see what they will offer us. They are paying for our rental car so I am hoping they give us at least a few days once settled to find another vehicle. Such a PIA!

I'm just catching up and saw this! I'm so glad you and your family are alright!!! I'm not sure how insurance works in the states but when our jeep was written off here I researched what the cost was to replace it and negotiated with them, they offered such a low price at first it was insulting, I ended up getting double what they originally offered me after negotiating with them.

So glad you came out okay and hope the insurance is able to sort it out and is cooperative. I had the exact same thing happen to me a few years ago on the way to work. Was stopped at the stoplight and a guy slammed right into the back of me with no attempt to stop. I didn't have children with me or dogs just me. But, it messed up my arm and shoulder and back for a good year after and the insurance company never paid anything because they wanted to just pay for the car and not my injuries so I ended up footing all the medical bills myself. The car belonged to my fiance and it came out of the ordeal okay luckily with damage only to the bumper.Anyhow watch those insurance companies carefully they tend to be jerks that try to get out of paying for stuff. And ya anytime I see or hear of anything like that it makes me so angry. Anybody who is that out of it that they can't notice they are approaching a stoplight with a bunch of people who have been stopped there for minutes on end doesn't deserve to keep their license.
