Waterless bath or some thing like that

When I was working with goldens, I used a product called "Ice". It was a spray on conditioner/detangler. But it also helped pull dirt & oils out of their fur. It didn't leave a real strong perfume odor, either. Sorry; can't remember who makes it; I see it fro sale at dog shows occasionally. I'll try to remember to look for it in the future.

They do make grooming wipes, in a variety of scents and types. PetSmart alone has quite a few (search "wipes" on the website) and although I've never actually used them, they might be worth looking into if you're worried about leftover stickiness.

Are you thinking of the Chris Christiansen Ice on Ice? Love that stuff for my girls but haven't tried it on Bob yet.

The wipes are, in my eyes, useless. For puppies, maybe, but once they are fully grown, useless. They are just too small and you will go through a lot of wipes. I read somewere to sprinkle corn starch and brush it out. It neutralized odor and gets rid of exess oils. I have not yet tried it, but I will soon.

I use natures Miracle Ultra Deodorizing spray (Odor Control Formula)....... (I get it at Petsmart) Works like a dream and no sticky!!! It smells "fresh"not perfumy at all. It just blasts the odor.

I can't remember the whole name; it came in a white plastic spray bottle with blue lettering. No sticky, either. I haven't gotten it for these guys because it's just as easy to spray them down.

Although the wipes are rather small, I have found them to work best of all. I've tried several different sprays and none of them lasted very long at all. Actually what I have been using lately came from Wal-Mart. They're called Wags and Wiggles. They actually get dirt or mud off and leave him smelling fresh. The scent is not real strong, but it leaves Cash smelling more fresh and he even feels more clean.

I tried the corn starch and baking soda dry bath with Titan this last weekend. It works but it's extremely messy. We were both covered in corn starch and baking soda because he kept shaking. Needless to say, I'm not sure I will do this again, although he smelled great and his coat was so soft. I had to vacuum the apartment after the dry bath, white paw prints and feet prints everywhere! I did it on my apartment patio, if I do decide to do it again, I'll do it on the grass.
